I was diagnosised with BV two days ago and my doctor gave me Some vaginal gel called “METRONIDAZOLE VAGINAL GEL” and this gel works really well. Its 0.75% steroid in it. BV is not sexually transmitted. It did flare up right after I had sex, I was experiencing itching, watery discharge and burning and it felt swollen. BV does go away so however is still having symptoms after treatment with antibiotics try that gel. Be blessed everyone

i have dealt with bv for years and it is very misreable i would like to find a very effective cure please help

I saw someone a little while ago who said that it is to do with a pH imbalance as a result of using too much soap and to use water or a very mild soap instead. I think the natural response would be to shower all the time but this actually makes it worse. Femfresh is meant to be good because of its low pH level. Hopes this helps people xxx

I had bv for the first time a couple month ago i dnt even know i had it just a lil ordor no discharge i think i have it again my odor is not that bad but its their it dnt hurt when i have sex but i notice the discharge more and i have to pee a lot i been to the doctor recently and i have no std so im thinking the bv is back by me eating yogurt it help with the discharge it goes away and come back

I have an apt on monday for the gyno. I have had symptoms of itching badly, burning, swelling. I dont seem to have any discharge that im aware of its actually very dry. I have been getting these symptoms every month sence I had my son 2 years ago. ( I know why am I just now going to the dr. ) I thought it was yeast infections for a long time. But never the less Im just now going. I dont beleave its an std Iv been with only my husband for 6 years. Do my symptoms seem like the same thing your having?

does it cause painful intercourse? i had all the symptoms and my Dr. called me in something for a yeast infection. the medicine worked and everything has stopped except for painful intercourse.

My problem is that anytime am having sex with my partner white discharge like milk and having bad odour which is not for me to have it. Pls what kind of drugs should i used for this thing to go away becos is very embarrased

I took meds for a bv infection a couple months ago. I thought it was a one time deal. I’ve noticed the odor again, and have tO go back to the doctor. If this happens on a regular, does this mean I have to go to the doctor EVERY time I notice some bv coming on? Can’t u just get a prescription so u already have the meds on hand??

The facts are, you pH changes extremely when you have your period, so BV risks change too. You must have good bacteria to be healthy and smell good!

CURE: I have been doing a less messy version of the yogurt + tampon. I already have the lactobacillus acidophilus supplements for intestinal health. Well, turns out, you can insert them vaginally (at night!!) for 4 nights. It cures it! I had the disgusting odor for two days, when I got fed up taking numerous showers without any luck, and I discovered I had this supplement all along! It’s day two of the treatment and the odor hasnt bothered me at all. That was my only symptom. I only smelled bad. So far, it’s working!!!!!!!!!
